Baked Chicken Meatballs

I love making meatballs, especially chicken ones. I bake these in the oven but you can totally make them in a pan with some oil before adding sauce.

  • 1 package of lean ground chicken
  • 1/2 onion, diced fine
  • 1/2 TB garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 TB tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs

Begin by combining all the above ingredients. Next, take a baking sheet that has been lined in parchment paper. Form your balls and place them on the sheet. Next, either brush or spray the meatballs with olive oil. Bake in a 400-degree oven for 25 minutes. Flip after 15 minutes of cooking.

Remove from the oven, put them in a pot of tomato sauce on the stove and simmer for 10-15 minutes before serving. Service with pasta or veggies of choice.
